This year was the first year we sent out family Christmas cards. Of course, most all of our family and friends knew we were expecting but we thought it would be fun to make these cards be kind of an announcement along with our holiday wishes.
These photos were taken by Casey at the Caspers Wilderness Park off the Ortega Highway in San Juan Capistrano. We chose the photo above to be on the cards we sent out, which is funny because this picture was Wes's idea and as we were taking it I told him this shot would NOT be our Christmas photo. Joke was on me. I like all of the photos we took that day but there was something special about the bump ahead that seemed so fitting for our growing family message.
The weather had been pretty dreary and on and off sprinkling all day. We were lucky to have gotten these pictures when we did. As soon as we'd finished it started to pour!☔
