This time last year, we were in the midst of wedding planning and celebrations. This year we are so excited to announce we are expecting a baby BOY! Coming March 2017! Best Birthday present ever!
Today was a very exciting day! Not only is it our birthday, we learned the gender of our little one! Last week we had blood testing done for abnormalities and through my blood, the doctors were able to tell which chromosome was most apparent. We got a great present when Dr. Mendelsohn called me to let me know the gender results were in. Because Wes was at work, she sent them to me in an email. The hours I had to wait for Wes to come home felt like forever! When Wesley finally got home, we sat on the sofa in our living room and opened the email together. I had a feeling it was a boy, I just knew it! There was a bunch of test results to read through but Wes found and read the results first. We hugged and kissed, letting it soak in for a few minutes before making the round of calls to the family, giddy with excitement!
Knowing the gender really helps me feel like there's a baby in my belly and not an alien that's sucking the life out of me. 😂 I have been, and still am getting very sick during the days but now that I have a little boy, I can dream about what he could be like. We can now plan boys names! I am so excited for this little Peanut.
